Aslam’s Plight pt 6 Reflections

My bones ached and my shoulder felt out of place. We successfully defeated the abomination of a tree. The vineyard house was saved and its people grateful.

I let my mind wander on the past events, focusing on the summoning my inability to stop the druids. I replay Strahd’s interaction  with our party, he just sat on top of his horse with that smirk on his face. May the gods help me for I am impressed with his ability to survey the battle scene.

I clear my mind again, and then refocus on our battles and what I could have done differently. A part of me aches to be on the front lines in melee with our enemies. But the archer in me wants to see the entire battle scene, the logic is simple, the more I see the more I can analyze and contribute.

If I am to restore my town back to its glory, if I am to rid it of the threat of the Dragon. I must survive this place in order to fulfill my goal.

I must begin to take a more commanding role on the battlefield, the very fate of our lives may depended on it!
