D&D Beyond will be The Official ‘Dungeons & Dragons’ Digital Toolsets

Wizard of the Coast announced that Dungeons & Dragons is getting its own 5th edition digital tool-sets. Curse, a media company which is owned by Twitch, is developing the app that should make Dungeons & Dragons easier to play than ever before. This will give players access to a character builder, rules compendium, online character sheets and more official 5th edition digital content for the first time.

Having the Dungeons & Dragons 5th edition rules tool-set will make gaming a lot easier for many players (particularly new ones) especially since we will be able to access all of our information from any device, so forgetting to bring your character sheet will become a thing of the past. This initially looks to be more of a table-top aid for players but could easily grow into something more. You can sign up for the beta right now at dndbeyond.com.
