Willow’s Banquet (Lost Scroll)

Banquet Hall

Lucius and I discussed our plans for the events tomorrow. Not much to discuss we will make sure that Willow is protected but keep our distance. Lucius conveys that he plans to abide by the rule of no weapons of events. He wanted to know would I abide by rule, and with a sly grin I tell him that I am the weapon.

At the event I mingle into the crowd and was drawn to my Elvin kin. The first couple I met were woodland elves a married couple. My Elvin sister wasted no time asking me was my mother a human. I must admit the question took me off guard. I replied that my father was human and my mother was Elvin. My Elvin brother jumped at the revelations and said that it is not always the human female that falls in love. I spoke with them for a few more minutes before moving to another two of my Elvin kin.

There was two very beautiful Elvin women that I engage in conversation. They were coming to pay their respect and enlist the aid of the Duke and Duchess. As they plan to move into the wooded area. I was making small talk and commenting on our Elvin senses. With a wink and a nod in acknowledgement. In hindsight I believe my winks may have been mistook for flirtation. I remarked how I was blessed with both ancestries. They seemed to agree with me but I could not help to think they were mocking me in some way. Either way I met two friends that I hope to one day see in the future.

I then move to a lady who seemed to be off to herself. That was a mistake, she was the niece of the duke and duchess. She had the audacity to motion a guard to come and remove me from the event. There was whispers between the two and her face soured. She then stated that I should be doing my job and not fraternizing. I hate when people view me as beneath them, perhaps it is my Elvin blood but I must take care to keep my anger in check. I excuse myself from the lady as to not say anything to offend her.

I then move on to a gnomish couple and they talked about the marvel of buildings and structures. I asked them if they were architects or builders and they said yes. I then asked have they ever designed anything with Elvin influence. The husband replied saying that Elvin designed is not really functionally and usually very lofty. I laughed and said that is what my kind does, you have to love them. We all shared a laughed together.

I then moved on to a beefy warrior and his ranger wife. Adventures seem to always migrate to each other. They were telling me stories of how they served under the Duke’s army but were tired of the soldier’s life. They plan to explore the area and heard rumors of a crypt. I offered mine and Lucius services to help with the treasure hunt.
